For clarity, ref dusx's post re usb adaptors, all monitors in the set up I referred to were ran from the native DP/HDMI and DVI outputs on the custom PC graphics card. 

The DVI may have had a HDMI-DVI adaptor; it has been a while. The science gallery (dublin) has since closed down- a casualty of covid related funding amongst other reasons. 

The set up ran pretty well for the duration. 

With respect to your set up, I am not sure how many monitors you have etc.

- Try your set up 1-2 monitors at a time to see where the offender may be.

- Try the monitors individually and then start doubling up till you encounter the open GL issue. 

- I assume you are on the latest version of Isadora etc. 

-  As Dusx said, remove any usb adaptors and see if that is a solution.

Hi there @Aidan, 

We discussed this internally within the team and sadly none of us has a Kinect v2, Model 1595. The ones that have a Kinect V2 all have a 1520 model.

I have to say it works fine / has been quite robust on plays/installations that I did.
If you have any follow-up questions / want some advice let us know.

I have had better experiences using the Blackmagic design codecs (included with their video capture software - free).

However. At 5 mins you will likely hit the Avi containers max filesize... This will truncate your video.

I would use OBS to record a Spout feed from your stage. This would record realtime, so you patch needs to run smoothly in real-time. The nice thing about this approach is it off loads see work from Isadora, so you have more cpu space to use.

BUT, you should be able to play Hap Mov on PC without any issue.
I would suggest testing playback (should be the same as Hap Avi) before batch converting etc..

I use Hyperdock for that purpose.You can define a shortcut to move a window from a screen to another or use the icon in the dock to see the open windows and drag the one you want on the proper screen.  https://apps.apple.com/de/app/...

As @Skulpture said, the OpenNI Tracker actor will allow you to get the depth map image from the Intel Realsense D435 as a video feed. The latest version of OpenNI Tracker (v0.9.8b2) is available at the top of this thread. Note that to work with this version of OpenNI Tracker you must update your camera to the latest firmware, as described in this thread.

I too have a C920. But I did remove the LogiCapture software. Sometimes Isadora did not see the camera at all if I had opened the LogiCapture software at all that day. A restart fixed that. 

But for me once it works it was fine. Maybe remove the LogiCapture software and see? Not sure how else I can help here really. Sorry.

@dusx  The problem was solved !! The graphic card configuration was the problem. No more crashes

I've finally had some time to look into this again. Things are starting to make sense with all your advice, but there is one hanging question that's in a way of everything - at least I think so.

Let's simplify stuff and focus only on the sample video with 500 Hz sound in the background (https://drive.google.com/open?...). When I drop it into Isadora and play it in a loop, what I hear is not only 500 Hz sound. At the end of each loop there is a delay/click. Is that only on my system, or is that a general behavior? If general, is there a way around it? Can it be codec-dependent, system-speed dependent, or what actually causes the 'click'?

Just to explain my reasoning - I realized that the deal-breaker now is the sound quality. In the examples above I just grabbed a guitar and played random chords to test things out in Isadora. For the show that I'm working on, the music will be recorded by musicians, and the click/delay in the loops is something I will have to deal with. It has to sound just right. I have an idea how to workaround the click using the Envelope Generator actor, but it's quite a convoluted solution that I'd like to avoid. I'd much rather find out why is there a click/delay between the loop in the first place.

I will say that the install path is non standard, so I would recommend trying the default path, and it might be worth double checking that you do not have a 32bit version of Windows 10.

Hi All, 

I am a MAC user, so please pardon my negligence when it comes to windows playback. I am trying to wrap my head round rendering for Windows. I am trying to utilize HAP and HAPQ with Isadora on Windows 10, however, I am having an issue understanding how to render for Windows within MAC OS. I have read many forum regarding all sorts of ways to render on Windows with windows bases software, however, if there a software that will allow me to render, say HAP.avi on MAC OS?

I loaded Quicktime onto the windows computer, however, HAP.mov would not playback it only gave me static? I figured this was possibly due to the codec. 

Does anyone have some advice on rendering Hap for playback on windows os?
